Authoring Tool
The Test Nation Authoring Tool makes it easy to create online assessment tests with no previous experience or knowledge of computer programming.
To access the Authoring Tool you must first Create a New Test or Edit an Existing Test from the Author Menu.

Some of the controls available are quite similar to those you would find in an E-Mail Program or Microsoft Word.
There are icons at the top and bottom of the screen for the most commonly used functions.
These functions can also be accessed from the menu bar at the top of the screen (File, Edit, Type, Items, Points, View, Text, Mulitmedia, Help).
The navigation panel is used to move between pages. This is situated at the bottom left of the screen. The left arrow moves to the previous page and the right arrow to the next. There is also a draggable bar to quickly jump to a specific question.
