Test Settings

You can view and edit your test settings from the Authoring Tool by clicking the Test Settings button.

  • Enter a name for the test in the Title field.
  • Using the drop down box, select a Category that is most applicatable to the test.
  • Using the drop down box, select a Subject that best describes the test's content.
  • Enter keywords separated by a comma (,) for Test Search Engine. This is only necessary if you are sharing the test with other authors or making the test available in the Revision Library.
  • Set a 'Time Limit' (if required)
  • Set one of three status settings:
    1. Public - Will make the test available on the Revision Library. The answers will then be available to the public.
    2. Shared - Will share the test with other E-Class Administrators. They will be able to import the test into their own E-Classes. You will be recognised as the author.
    3. Secure - Will mean only you can import the test into an E-Class. This is the most secure option. It is also useful for storing unfinished or dormant tests.

Scores, Grades and Comments

The grades or comments settings can be found on the right hand side test settings panel (accessible from the authoring tool).
